Artist's Statement
Ever since my childhood, I have been captivated by the beauty of the human face. My studies of anatomy in dental school brought to light what I learned years later in my realistic drawing classes. Again I found the attraction to drawing and painting the human form, especially the face. Studying under some of today’s great portrait artists has enabled me to bring light, color, and emotion to my painting, especially those of children and young adults.
